Event Registration

Determine if registration is required
Use the event registration form if your event meets any of the following:
a) Off-campus
b) Hosting external guests
c) Expected attendance ≥ 50
d) Budget > $600 total OR > $20 per person
If none apply, proceed with a PO request, room reservation in JMEC, and posting to the event calendar.

  1. Prepare event readiness checklist
    Download the checklist (linked below), assign a designated lead, and obtain advisor approval.

  2. Submit checklist
    Upload your completed checklist here.

  3. After approval

    1. Begin marketing at least 2 weeks before the event

    2. List the event on the MSG calendar

    3. Send a reminder 1 week before

    4. Collect RSVPs if appropriate
